My Story

 

It’s a little bit magic, this life.

Each moment and interaction as significant as the next. Every experience lived, it turns out, has lead me here. Sitting in the sunshine of my back yard in the Northern Rivers, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for this wondrous life. As I pour my heart and soul into ‘Littlest Dreamers’

 

I grew up in the remote and perfectly unique town of Broome, Western Australia. Spending a childhood in a place like Broome changes ones soul forever. There is a profound and tangible connection to country there, and relationships are formed unlike any other. It was there, in the far north of Western Australia, that my deep respect for the First Nations People was awakened, as there is such a strong community in this place. Though Broome will always have a place in my heart, my story drew me elsewhere.

 

There was something for me on the East Coast. Byron Shire was calling and I said yes. In many ways it was a complete contrast to what I had grown up knowing, but this place had a power of its own. There is an unavoidable movement here that sweeps you up and pushes you toward spiritual growth and environmental consciousness. I thank this energy for my journey toward a deeper understanding of self and my part to play in this ecological movement of our time. My responsibility to be accountable for my environmental footprint was clearer than ever.

Across many careers and callings, I have supported healing, fostered development and nurtured the growth of others, particularly young children. I am now ready to create something of my own, which embodies my values and everything I have learnt. A new challenge that can support my freedom and growth that I am able to share with you all. So here in Byron Bay ‘Littlest Dreamers’ was born. My first baby.
